Trees of Hope

Dear friends,

As we are busy preparing for the Zoom Webinar, we will not update this week.

We will be back next week with details of our tenth memorial of the Yezidi Genocide, which incredibly became the planting of a Road of Life, with members of Shariya village joining us, inspired by the planting of trees and committing to tend them and look after them.

There was no mention of death, no atmosphere of loss or grief. There was an honoring and a remembrance with a definite planting of both trees and feet on the road into the future. All of our students and the villagers left uplifted and inspired.

We are so grateful for your generous support which made this life giving event possible, and look forward  to sharing more with you next week.
