Hope is a Principal

ree

Dear friends,

Thank you for your continued support and personal encouragement. I have recovered from the operation and will soon begin a period of other preventative treatments. During this period of both healing in my sanctuary of space and time, and undergoing treatments our updates will be less regular, or much briefer.

This week we are showing you just a glimpse of our week. It is just that, a glimpse.

Usually at the end of each day as I go over our shared photos I am amazed at how much has been accomplished during the day, not factory style but layer by layer impacting lives. There is not an hour in a day that is wasted.

Whilst reading a local newspaper (yes, delightfully printed) there was a sentence that stood out, "Hope is a principal. It is not a mood that comes and goes." That excited me as it is one of our foundational values.

I had asked some of my team to gather comments on camp life from the tentdwellers. As I read them I became depressed. They lacked hope. So instead of sharing the inner heart of those who have no hope, we go behind the scenes to share a few photos of a very small part of our very hope - filled week, whether in the Hope Centre serving the Yezidi community, the Rainbow Zone serving the Syrian or in the Horses for Hope stables which serves everyone.

Thank you for walking with us.

With your help, we are filling ever hour we can with hope. Leading each group in our care from despair to hope. From devastation to healing. Impacting lives!

Every donation makes a huge difference.
