Welcome to our January E-Mag. As the sealing of 2022 was on the horizon, a question that I put to both our staff and artists was both simple yet complex, "What is your vision for 2023?”
This short magazine portrays the vision of Yezidi kids, some who were taken into the captivity of ISIS in Syria, some who fled the invasion of ISIS losing all, living in tents in Shariya Camp since 2014. Young men and women who from the place of devastation have learned to “Look Again". Young men and women whose intuition tells them that their personal prison can become a palace.
These kids are truly amazing. As you say, their ability to dream and envision their future is remarkable. I believe many will reach their goals.
